Please be informed that construction of the underground Downtown Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line will commence in October 2011, transforming the Expo Station into the interchange for the Downtown MRT Line by 2017.
Due to these works, Expo Drive will not be accessible via Changi South Avenue 1 from 2 October 2011 to early 2017. However, Expo Drive will still be accessible from Upper Changi Road East. From 25 September 2011, Somapah Road will be extended to connect Upper Changi Road East to Changi South Avenue 1.
It will business as usual at Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre. The car park, as well as taxi stand at Foyer 2 will remain in operation throughout the construction works.
