bizSAFE Level 4

Initiated by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSH), bizSAFE is a five- step programme to assist companies build up their WSH capabilities in order to achieve quantum improvements in safety and health standards at the workplace. SingEx Venues has been awarded bizSAFE Level 4 for having demonstrated commitment towards WSH in the areas of acquiring risk management capability as well as developing a WSH management plan for the enterprise.

ISO 22301: Business Continuity Management

Awarded for successfully building resilience and capability for an effective response to disruptions (accidents and disasters). SingEx Venues provides a robust framework and procedures that focus on continuity management and recovery of critical business functions.

ISO 9001 – Quality Management System

Awarded for creating a quality management system to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Singapore Standard 539:2008 for Safety and Operational Management for Indoor Operations

SingEx Venues adheres to this standard that provides guidance on the technical and operational safety aspects of an exhibition in broad categories – structural safety, fire safety, electrical safety, machinery and equipment safety and environmental and health safety.

Green Mark Platinum Standard

MAX Atria is the first convention centre in Singapore to be awarded the Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Standard which incorporates internationally recognised best practices in environmental design and building performances.

1999

Opening of the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre

Body Worlds Exhibition held its first and longest exhibition in Singapore for 6 months

2005

Opening of Singapore EXPO Halls 7 to 10

International Textile Machinery Asia, the first exhibition that was held in the newly opened Halls 7 to 10, occupying a total of 60,000 square metres


2006

Played host to the largest incentive meeting to ever be held in Singapore held by Amway China, receiving more than 10,000 visitors over a 6-week period


2012

Opening of MAX Atria , the convention wing of Singapore EXPO. MAX Atria, was awarded the prestigious Green Mark Platinum by the Building & Construction Authority Singapore Food & Hotel Asia held its largest exhibition in Singapore, occupying all 10 halls of Singapore EXPO, amounting to 100,000 square meters of exhibition space

MAX Atria was shortlisted as one of the finalists for Business Event Venue of the Year in the Singapore Experience Awards - 2013 and 2014


2014

Food & Hotel Asia held its largest exhibition in Singapore, occupying all 10 halls of Singapore EXPO, amounting to 100,000sqm of exhibition space.

Singapore EXPO hosted Herbalife Extravaganza, Singapore’s largest incentive meeting to date, held its with 22,000 delegates from over 10 countries.


2016

Singapore EXPO wins Best International Venue award at the 10th Exhibition News (EN) Awards
