A Moving Masterpiece: The Song Dynasty As Living Art is a stunning and ‘moving’ technological showcase of the historic Song Dynasty painting, “Qing Ming Shang He Tu”.

Originally painted on a 5.28 metre-long scroll by Chinese court artist Zhang Zeduan, this epic painting gives us an in-depth view of the lifestyle and society in the flourishing capital of the Song Dynasty during the 12th century. Combining the best of art and technology, the exhibition will be presented in an immersive and engaging way for visitors. Featuring themed environments, audiences will be invited to explore a vibrant capital city, view the 128 metre by 6.5 metre long animated painting, and uncover the flavours and crafts of this ancient Global City!
